As we were driving home from the sitter's the other day, the sun was setting and the sky was full of beautiful colors and clouds. Conor looked up at them and began seeing "shapes" in the clouds and pointing them out to me.
"Look, Momma - over there is a big dinosaur."
"Oh, wow!"
"And on the other side there are mountains and a river... oh, there's a nousouras (rhinoceros)! And there is a horse!"
"Cool! What else do you see up there? I see a big elephant!"
"Oh, yeah! And there is a big, pink, flying dragon! And he's blowing fire!" (And then proceeds to blow air out of his own mouth...)
"Oh, no, is he coming to get us?"
Conor laughing (at me!) - "No, Momma, they're just clouds... we're just tendin'!" (Pretending..)
